An engineered amount of oxygen is added to oxidize only the solubleportion of the biological oxygen demand ("BOD").
The insoluble BOD sinks and is digested anaerobically. The MA produces bubbles that are less than 2 micron in diameter. The bubbles move horizontally reducing the specific gravity to .97. Thus, solids sink 16 times faster than in normal water (than in a gas free clarifier).
BOD, pathogens, and other solids are digested in situ, using only 13 horsepower

• Rapidly oxides the soluble BOD
• Lowers the specific gravity of the surface
• Sinks insoluble BOD and pathogens 16 times faster
• Organic Solids are digested in-situ after sinking
• When used with a CSTR, makes a very efficient clarifier
• Capable of moving the fractionated bubbles up to 250 ft. horizontally
